LESSON 5: SAFETY ONLINE - DOS AND DON'TS

ANTICIPATION - LET'S SING!

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=0v4iFfaTJm4

1) First of all, you have to be really careful on social media when you're talking to strangers and be respectful when you're talking to someone. If a stranger is forcing you to do something you don't want to do, then don't do it, and block them if they're being disrespectful to you. Also don't be disrespectful, never bully anyone and don't impersonate people. Think about what you would feel if someone did this to you. DJURA

2) Secondly, think and check before you post! Words and images can be very hurtful, and you might not realize that the information you put on the Internet is visible to many people. XENIA & MAYYA

3) Thirdly, watch the clock and the time you spend on social networking websites: time flies without you could realize it and you might forget and / or miss important things. XENIA

4) Fourthly, teenagers can fall victim of Internet harassment ! They have to pay attention to people who follow them, then. MAYYA

5) Fifthly, adolescents must share appropriate content online and ban insults. MAYYA

6) All in all ( = as a conclusion), you mustn't spread personal data or give personal information on the Internet because it could be misused by others. Ask a grown-up if you are not sure about what you can post. Keep the internet safe! KÉMI & MALCOLM
